Using Atrium for both a case tracker and a CRM

I was recently looking at enhancing our processes in regards to client/leads management and decided to have a look at SugarCRM. After a couple weeks of evaluation I came to the conclusion that our usage of it was very simple and not at all unlike the casetracker of Atrium. Since we already use Atrium for our projects management, we are exploring the idea of extending it to cover both (PM tool and CRM) usages. I am pretty certain that other individual or groups have similar needs.
