Red Brick Recruiting is a newly established professional recruiting agency located in Vancouver. Although this entity is young, the senior staff behind it has 10 years in the recruiting business (as Footprints Recruiting) and over 25 years of combined recruiting experience.
What sets Red Brick apart is their true commitment to providing top talents in the context of ongoing relationships with their clients. By knowing their clients and their markets intimately, they are in a unique position to provide staffing in a timely manner.
We needed a website so we enlisted The Jibe to help us create one. We wanted to have a simple and clean website that is easy to navigate, yet still portrayed what we are about. One of the key ingredients was a job board that allowed candidates to apply directly to our postings in an easy and hassle free way.

the twist
The major challenge in building this project was a familiar one, the features requested didn’t match the budget and timeline.
Red Brick have a very aggressive timeline. During the discovery phase we had to prioritize their requested features to limit the project scope while also fulfilling the most pressing business requirements.
the solution
Red Brick's main functionality requirement was to a job board. We implemented a solution that struck the right balance between functionality, usability and simplicity of implementation, while maintaining a job candidate’s ability to apply for a position online.
To speed the development process, and allow the limited time to be focussed on feature development, an existing third party theme was used. The theme provided us with some default functionality and a responsive layout, which we were able to tweak to better match the company's brand identity and functionality goals.
By having access to The Jibe's web-based project management tool, communication was very easy. After about a week Erik had a development website up and running, which allowed us to see in real time how the site was progressing. Any questions or issues that came up were addressed in a very timely manner and in about 3 weeks our finished website was live.
