Namaste Publishing Online Global Community and Store

Over the past few months, The Jibe has been hard at work on the re-launch of Namaste Publishing's website. We are proud to say that the site is now live!

Namaste Publishing: Homepage Screen Shot

Background

Namaste Publishing is a successful Canadian-based publishing house with a worldwide presence. Their goal was to have a website that could be easily updated, with an online store and space for their customers to learn and share. Drupal, with its flexible content management and social media capabilities, and Übercart, a great contributed e-commerce suite, were an excellent match for this project.

The development and launch of Namaste Publishing's website was a collaborative effort between Boxcar Marketing, Raincity Studios, Lift Studios and Namaste Publishing. The Jibe was brought on to assist with the implementation of Übercart, as well as other development components such as data import, performance optimization, Views, and content type setup (requiring complex content relationships and specialized categorization and taxonomies).

MyMacs.ca - Customer Engagement through Social Media

The Jibe is very pleased to have recently launched the MyMacs.ca web site. The site was produced in conjunction with 612 Creative, who were the lead contractor and provided project management and graphic design, Blackwave Creative, who developed the Flash-based pirate game, and ourselves, who did the back-end web development, implemented the design, and provided the server system administration.

My Macs Website

It is still early days for MyMacs.ca, however it has already enjoyed important successes. Most impressively, in the two months since launch over 5500 people have created an account on the site!

Sending Emails with Attachments using Messaging Framework in Drupal

Recently, a client of ours asked us to provide functionality to their site that would automatically send out emails with an attachment on a regular basis. Quick research on email file attachments with Drupal proved to be very slim and inconclusive until I caught a related thread for the Notifications Add-ons project.
